Chemical mixers in Halar®
These mixers have to mix various chemical products. The aggressivity of these products affects even stainless steel. To avoid this, they are coated with a 600 to 800 µm thick, chemical resistant Halar coating. Afterwards, they are spark tested with 5 kV to ensure that the coating is fully closed and forms a perfect barrier.
