Abcite® coating for safety fence in Della Faillelaan (Antwerp)
A steel fence was installed around this villa in della Faillelaan in 1996, protected from corrosion only by a 500 µm thick Abcite® coating, without additional galvanization.
Although these are welded elements and perfoplates, there is no corrosion or detachment anywhere. Where assembly damage does occur, the damage is limited to the impact site and there is no detachment. Even an inspection in 2023, 27 years after the coating, the result is still excellent.
